A Polar bear looks out over a ridge to check on how much ice has formed on Hudson Bay
After a long day searching for bears, we came across this solo male bear, clearly anxious to get out on the ice and start hunting Seals again after up to a 150-day hiatus in catching prey. The clouds had formed and the sun had nearly disappeared making a moody portrait.
